Before & After

Move the bar on the photo side-to-side to see the difference our interior design can make.

Before Mosley Design

This living room was functional but no longer had the right feel. The client needed some changes to fit their personality and lifestyle better.

After Mosley Design

As a full-service design studio, our skills go way beyond redecorating. Here, we redesigned major elements (fireplace, shelving, windows, etc.) and lightened everything.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between an interior designer and a decorator?

Interior design includes decor, but it is so much more. We can create blueprints of your space and rearrange walls, electrical outlets, plumbing, etc.  We work from the ground up ensuring that basically everything you see on the inside of a building both functions properly and is aesthetically pleasing. First we design the structure, then we decide what decor suits it best.

Will you handle all the construction too?

Mosley Design Studio handles the design, which covers all the decisions from lighting to colors to whether that wall should stay where it is. We can create floor plans or blueprints to change the structure of the room when you want a completely different feel.  Then we give those plans to your builder/contractor to take care of the actual construction. If you don’t already have a favorite builder, we can guide you in selecting one. Our role is to design the space and help make decisions about what will get you to the atmosphere you want. Then a contractor does any construction.

How much will I be involved as a client?

Naturally, it’s your space, so you will have the opportunity to be involved to the extent of your comfort level. Some clients prefer to be hands-on while others enjoy being hands-off. Interior design projects always involve little details and behind-the-scenes decisions and errands. Part of the customer service Mosley Design offers is to handle these while you are able to enjoy seeing your project come to life.

What is the cost?

Since our work can range from re-upholstering furniture to designing an entire commercial office, posting a price range online would not be helpful. The best way to get an idea of cost is to contact April to discuss your project and needs. Since a project with Mosley Design Studio always starts with a site visit and a custom proposal, you will know the costs of your project and approve that cost before any work begins.
